Jean-François Moser, Chairman of eRcane, was decorated with the National Order of Merit on 11 February 2010.
The medal was presented on behalf of the President of the Republic by Guy Dupont, Chairman of eRcane from 1995 to 2006, following a speech tracing highlights of Jean-François Moser’s life and career, particularly in Reunion Island.

The ceremony took place in Saint André not far from the Bois Rouge sugar mill and was attended by representatives from the public authorities, the economic world in general and the sugarcane sector in particular, by his close colleagues and his family.
