The eRcane Industrial Processes and Innovations Department carries out regular missions to fulfil requests (laboratory audits, process verification, assessment of the causes of sugar loss, etc.). It also addresses analysis requests from sugar mills outside Réunion for a range of sugarcane products: sugar, syrup, molasses, massecuite, etc.

It has already exported its expertise to several countries in Africa (Mauritius, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, etc.), the West Indies (Martinique, Guadeloupe), Brazil, etc.
