New names for buildings at eRcane's station in La Bretagne

altFollowing the inauguration of the new green chemistry laboratory, named after Emile Hugot in 2007, eRcane decided to continue in the same vein for its other buildings. For its 80th anniversary, five buildings were named after specialists who worked for the sugar industry in Reunion Island and made special contributions to our research centre.

We were delighted that members of their families were able to take part in the anniversary celebrations.

By giving the buildings their names, we wish to pay tribute to these individuals whose precious work over the past 80 years helped construct the solid foundations on which to build future projects for eRcane, for the sugar industry and for Reunion Island.
